Jovenel Moise case: Rodolph Jaar sentenced to life

The verdict has fallen for Rodolph Jaar. A federal judge in Miami on Friday sentenced the Haitian-Chilean businessman to life in prison for his role in helping a group of Colombian mercenaries obtain weapons to assassinate Haitian President Jovenel Moïse on July 7. 2021.

Federal Judge José E. Martínez handed down the sentence during a hearing in federal court Miami, AP reports.

It should be recalled that in the context of this case several other suspects are in prison in the United States.
