Christian Jérôme, the exceptionally gifted Haitian swimmer, once again astounded the swimming world during the prestigious championship currently being held in Fukuoka, Japan.

Throughout the championship, Christian Jérôme has garnered admiration from countless swimming enthusiasts due to his dazzling performances. Christian Jérôme will make his debut at the World Championships in Japan today, swimming the 200 butterflies, and the 100 butterflies on the evening of July 27th (Eastern Standard Time).

Christian is a talented swimmer who joined Team Haiti Swimming a few years ago during the 2021 Central American and Caribbean Swimming Confederation (CCCAN) Championships. During this event, he stood out by finishing among the top 3 in all 6 of his individual events, showcasing exceptional determination and talent. Furthermore, he holds records for Haiti in several long and short-meter events, which attests to his excellence in the sport of swimming.

Last year, Christian also achieved an outstanding performance, securing the second place in the 100 butterflies at the New York Public School Athletic League competitions. This accomplishment demonstrated his constant progress and high level of competitiveness, even in such a competitive scene as that of New York.

Last summer, at just 13 years old, Christian managed to qualify for the U.S. Junior National Championships, an impressive feat for such a young swimmer.
