Haiti-Insecurity: an organization holds the government accountable
Armed attacks against members of the population in different areas of the country, the National Network for the Defense of Human Rights demands an explanation from the Government.
In a press release published on Monday, the organization points the finger at the authorities who canceled the strategic plan drawn up by the national police in 2022 with a view to containing the armed gangs in their stronghold. This now allows the bandits to completely control the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince.
