An earthquake felt in the department of Grand’Anse
The earth shook this Friday morning in Grand’Anse with a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter scale. The event happened around 2 a.m. The epicenter was 21 km from the town of Bonbon. No damage, but residents were in shock.
As a reminder, on August 14, 2021, an earthquake of magnitude 7 shook the great south of Haiti. Thousands of deaths have been recorded, thousands of houses have been destroyed and damaged.
