Bob Marley’s grandson “Jo Mersa” is dead

Joseph Marley, known as Jo Mersa Marley, the grandson of Bob Marley is dead. The information was reported by American media.

According to WZPP radio in Miami, a city where the artist has spent much of his life, the artist would be found in a vehicle after suffering an asthma attack last Tuesday.

Public figures quickly reacted to the departure of the musician, this is the case of Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness, who said he was deeply saddened by the death of the reggae musician. “My deepest condolences to Joseph’s friends and loved ones and the reggae music fraternity as well as fans everywhere,” he added. For him, the death of the artist is “a huge loss for music”.

Jo Mersa Marley had released his first opus, called “Comfortable” in 2016, followed by “Eternal” in 2021.
