The number of people infected with cholera is growing day by day. According to the NGO Médecins Sans Frontières, 68 patients tested positive. This health situation is of concern to everyone, especially at a time when the country is facing a shortage of drinking water.

The health authorities have already reactivated the Cholera Treatment Center (CTC). 50 beds are available in Cité Soleil, two Cholera Treatment Units (UTC) located in Brooklyn and Turgeau have 20 and 10 beds respectively.

The MSPP continues to call on the population to be vigilant in order to break the chain of transmission.
