Cholera: Health authorities already confirm 37 deaths
The Ministry of Public Health and Population has just published a partial assessment of the cholera disease in Haiti. 37 people died in hospital after being infected. The Minister of Health claims to have identified 123 confirmed cases.
The National Penitentiary continues to have people infected with the virus. 14 detainees have died from the disease, while 271 suspected cases have been identified.

The authorities are once again calling on the population to be cautious while respecting hygiene measures to prevent the spread of cholera.
