Haiti: The cholera epidemic has already caused 35 deaths
The number of people infected with cholera continues to climb. According to a latest report from the Ministry of Public Health and Population, 47 people have tested positive, 560 suspected cases have been identified while 35 deaths have already been recorded.
The country’s health authorities continue to call on the population to respect hygiene measures in order to avoid much more contamination.
