Bel Air Rocked by Explosions as Police Drones Strike “Jamesy” Gang Stronghold

Port-au-Prince – Heavy gunfire echoed through the Bel Air neighborhood early Tuesday morning following a large-scale security operation carried out by the Haitian National Police, with support from the Task Force.

The operation targeted the stronghold of the armed gang known as “Jamesy,” long accused of terrorizing residents in the area.Security sources report that explosive-laden drones were deployed to dislodge gang members entrenched in densely populated zones.

A preliminary assessment indicates that several armed individuals were neutralized, while others, seriously injured, reportedly fled to nearby areas.

The operation was still ongoing at the time of reporting, as authorities urged residents to remain cautious amid the volatile security situation.
