Canada plans to train Haitian police

Canada rejects any idea of leading a multinational force of 4,000 members in Haiti as Washington wishes.

The Canadian army fears that its soldiers will be the target of attacks by armed gangs as well as military burrs in the event of a response. However, Canada is preferably considering training Haitian police officers as part of a contingency plan.

Justin Trudeau has already put on the table about 250 million dollars to train Haitian police so that they can face the gangs that sow terror in almost all the country.
