Clashes in Gressier: Police Reclaim Station, Several Bandits Killed
Following several hours of intense clashes with armed criminals, police have successfully regained control of the Gressier police station, which had been heavily damaged by the assailants. Reports indicate that several bandits were killed during the conflict.
The situation escalated further when police chased the gang leaders, who had taken refuge in the St-Jean-Baptiste parish. In a desperate move, the bandits kidnapped Father Emmanuel St-Eloi, according to the town’s mayor, who spoke to Métronome.
