John Joël Joseph Accuses Journalist of Producing Fake DEA Badges

Detained in the United States over his alleged involvement in the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, John Joël Joseph is currently appearing before a judge as legal proceedings continue.

During cross-examination on Thursday, the defendant made a striking claim, alleging that a journalist identified as Joël Labady was responsible for producing fake DEA badges used during the operation that led to the president’s killing.

According to Joseph, the badges were not authentic and were used to mislead security forces. This statement could open new lines of inquiry into potential accomplices in the case.
