Mission of U.S. Warships in the Bay of Port-au-Prince Clarified
The U.S. Embassy has confirmed the mission of American naval vessels currently operating in the bay of Port-au-Prince. According to official information, the USS Stockdale, along with the USCGC Stone and the USCGC Diligence, were deployed as part of Operation Southern Spear, following instructions from the U.S. Secretary of Defense.
