Public transport drivers should avoid Martissant

Public transport unions prohibit public vehicles from circulating in Martissant, at the Bicentenaire, from Portail-Léogâne to Bizoton, from Monday May 15 until authorization in order to be able to help the police who are in full operation in Village of God.

Trade unionist Méhu Changeux invites drivers not to take the road that leads to the south of the country. He believes that this police operation aimed at dislodging the gangs in Village de Dieu will save the drivers this heavy price to pay on each trip.

Note that the police are determined to subdue the bandits of Martissant and its surroundings. Since the beginning of the operations the cases of kidnapping have ceased.
