Haiti: UEHSL concerned about the deterioration of the socio-political situation

The Union of Employees of the Haitian State Lottery (UEHSL) is very concerned about the social, economic and political crisis in the country. The UEHSL calls on the protagonists to surpass themselves in order to be able to avoid the worst.

Since last Monday the whole country was called to demonstrate against the decision of the Prime Minister, Ariel Henry, to increase the price of gasoline at the pump.

Protesters erected burning tires across several streets in Port-au-Prince, Delmas de Pétion-ville and other locations across the country.
