5 members of the “Gran grif” gang arrested in Saint-Marc

Five men affiliated with the “Gran grif” gang were arrested in Saint-Marc, in Poterie, a locality located in the commune of Liancourt, Artibonite department, the police informed.

“These are Mario Joseph, alias “Pouchon”, Jefferson Saintus, the Bervelie and Ymelda Servius sisters, and Ténor Céus. The latter played the role of scout for Savien’s bandits, providing them with information during police operations,” the memo read.

As for Mario Joseph, alias Pouchon, he was apprehended for his alleged involvement in the assassination of six (6) police officers, on Wednesday January 25, in Liancourt, said Me Venson François, Chief of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Saint-Marc .

The latter are placed in police custody pending the necessary legal action.
