An employee of the Institute of Social Welfare kidnapped

Armed bandits continue to terrorize the Haitian population. On Friday March 10, heavily armed individuals kidnapped an employee of the Institute of Social Welfare and Research not far from the National Palace.

Jean Smith Cadet, driver at the Institute of Social Welfare and Research, was kidnapped on Friday March 10, 20023, while the latter was driving a white Toyota Land cruiser brand vehicle from the institution registered OF-4119.

Contacts have already been established with the parents of the victim, our editorial staff learned. The kidnappers demanded a large sum of money in exchange for his freedom.
