A Canadian accused in the assassination of Jovenel Moise
A Canadian of Haitian origin is suspected of having participated in the assassination of the former president, Jovenel Moise. Gérard Nicolas is accused of having fomented a terrorist attack aimed at overthrowing former President Moise, we quote Radio Canada.
Gérard Nicolas denies his involvement in the magnicide of Jovenel Moise on July 7, 2021 in his residence at Pèlerin 5, a district located in the heights of Pétion-ville.
Nicolas proclaims his innocence and points the finger at an ex-girlfriend who wanted revenge on him. The accused must appear in front of Canadian justice on December 1 to come.
