Bachelor’s Degree: More than 200 students deprived of their participation in exams

This year, the bachelor’s degree in Haiti is marred by an unprecedented cheating scandal. The Minister of Education, Nesmy Manigat, has revealed that over 200 students will be barred from taking the exams due to fraudulent manipulation of passing grades across different classes.

The matter came to light when the Minister of Education announced that the grades of certain students had been tampered with to illegitimately promote them from one class to another. This dishonest practice was carried out in no less than 50 schools in the country, which are now under scrutiny.
