National mourning in memory of Prime Minister Latortue
The Prime Minister’s communication office informs the general population and the press in particular that in the Council of Ministers of Thursday March 2, 2023, Sunday March 5, Monday March 6 and Tuesday March 7, 2023 were decreed days of national mourning in memory of the Prime Minister Gérard Latortue died on Monday February 27 in the United States of America.
During these three days, the national flag will be lowered. Radio and TV stations will feature shows and music for the occasion.
The communication office points out to the attention of the public that these three days are not idle and that consequently the public administration, commerce, industry and schools will operate as usual.
