Police want to keep fighting gangs

The Director General of the National Police, Frantz Elbé, accompanied by members of the High Command, led a command meeting, bringing together the Departmental Directors, this Friday, March 3, 2023.

The objective of this expanded meeting was to assess the security situation through the police structures throughout the national territory, and the measures to be taken to strengthen the operational capacity of the Police in order to remove certain constraints, as well as the new perspectives that have been implemented as part of the revitalization of the police institution.

At the end of the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief, Frantz Elbé, invited the Officials to close ranks, in order to continue to fight effectively against organized crime in all its forms.

Frantz Elbé also took the opportunity to salute the determination of the police who, despite the limited means with which the institution is confronted, continue to work tirelessly for the well-being of the Haitian population.
