Youri Latortue and Joseph Lambert could go to prison
Judge Marthel Jean Claude issued his order in the corruption case involving Youri Latortue pinned in a report by the Anti-Corruption Unit for favoring his mother.

Youri Latortue is sent to the criminal court for embezzlement of public property and illegal taking of interest, while Joseph Lambert is sent to the criminal court for obstruction of justice, this is what we can read in the order.
In this case, Youri Latortue risks between 3 to 7 years in prison, while Joseph Lambert risks 1 month to 3 years in prison in accordance with article 4.5 of the law of March 12, 2014 on corruption.
