Aboulò, an alleged bandit, arrested in Gonaïves

Arrested on Sunday in Gonaïves, the alleged bandit Junior Barthélémy alias Aboulò and 3 other people including the police officer Anesca Emmanuel were heard on Monday by the investigating office.

After the hearing, which lasted two and a half hours, they were taken to the civil prison in Gonaives.

Aboulò is being prosecuted in 3 cases: the assassination of a young person on December 31, 2021, the attack that caused de facto PM Ariel Henry to flee from the cathedral on January 1, 2022, and the fire at the Gonaïves courthouse.

It should be noted that since the arrest of Junior Barthelémy alias Aboulò, close to ex-senator Youry Latortue, sporadic shots are heard in the city, all activities have been paralyzed in the city center.
