Melchie Dumornay plays with AS Tigresses in Haiti. In November 2018, she made conclusive trials with Olympique Lyonnais, who could not recruit her because of her age. She was named the fifth most promising player in the world by Goal magazine in 2020.
On September 9, 2021, when she had just celebrated her 18th birthday and could finally play abroad, and despite the interest of several other more prestigious clubs in Europe and the United States, she signed up with Stade de Reims in Division 1, where she joins her compatriot Kethna Louis4. She is once again named the fifth most promising player in the world by Goal magazine.
For her first match with Reims, she managed two assists in one half against GPSO 92 Issy. She then scored twice for her second match against Bordeaux.
