Arrested for possession of illegal weapons, Joël Khawly released on bail

Businessman Joël Khawly was released on Thursday evening. Khawly was arrested for illegal possession of war weapons, he was released Thursday evening on bail after paying three million gourdes.

The prosecutor’s office of the commune of Jacmel has provisionally released Joël Khawly, according to local sources. He was arrested on the night of Friday, November 25 by BLTS agents and other specialized units from the Southeast during a search at his home.
