Corruption: Edwin Tonton banned from leaving the country

Judge Jean Wilner Morin asks the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration to take all measures to prevent the current Director of the Social Assistance Fund from leaving the country.

Indeed, Judge Morin, through correspondence, asked the authorities to take all the necessary measures to prevent the Director Edwin Tonton, the former accountant of the fund, Pierre Richard Valles, and Yvrose Alcide, employee of the Social Assistance Fund, to leave the country.

These aforementioned people would be involved in a corruption scandal, according to a report by the Anti-Corruption Unit.

It should be recalled that the Anti-Corruption Unit had published a report in which several civil servants and former civil servants are suspected of having committed acts related to Corruption.
