The government intends to come to the aid of the most disadvantaged. This Wednesday, the authorities validated the plan of 3 billion gourdes to fight against the food insecurity which prevails in the country. Families are the sector most affected by this crisis.
The government plans to financially support 150,000 people, women will have the opportunity to receive vouchers. Labor-intensive works, targeted subsidies and agricultural investment are also planned in this fight against food insecurity.
It should be noted that this program will be executed by the Ministry of Social Affairs in support of the Ministries of Agriculture, Planning and the Environment.
