Edgard Leblanc fils Reaffirms Haitian Territorial Integrity on Flag Day

During the 221st Flag Day celebration, Edgard Leblanc fils, the designated President of the Presidential Council, clarified a previous statement made by Emmelie Prophète.

In his address, Leblanc fils asserted, “The Haitian flag reminds us that no territory in Haiti is lost; every meter belongs to the Haitian State.” This statement was meant to emphasize the significance of territorial integrity and national sovereignty.

He further stated, “The flag symbolizes the State’s authority. It will soon fly everywhere, signifying the end of the era of perpetual insecurity in the country,” reinforcing the government’s commitment to restoring security and order throughout Haiti.

This clarification was seen as a strong affirmation of the government’s dedication to strengthening national unity and maintaining control over all Haitian territory.

Flag Day, which commemorates the adoption of the blue and red flag in 1803, remains a moment of national pride and reflection on Haiti’s independence. On this important day, Leblanc fils’s message resonated as a call for unity and vigilance against current challenges.
