A Canadian mission in Haiti…
A high-level mission has already arrived in Haiti to meet with political actors. From December 7 to 9, this mission will facilitate exchanges between the Haitian political class with a view to reaching a consensus.
According to Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Mélanie Joly, the delegation is led by Canada’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Bob Rae.

The crisis that has been ravaging society for several years will be at the center of the discussions, the members of the delegation have the mission of meeting actors from various sectors of society in order to find a way out of the crisis and to set up an electoral council that can organize the next elections.
