After 20 days kidnapped, a 6-year-old child released in Léogâne
On Thursday December 15, 2022, the police released a 6-year-old child in Léogâne. However, he was abducted from his parents’ home in Carrefour-Feuilles, Port-au-Prince, on November 25.
A 6-year-old child has regained his freedom after being kidnapped by an armed man. It was the agents of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) who managed to carry out this operation which was to lead to the release of the child.

The police institution confirmed the information in a note published on Sunday. The release of the victim took place on December 15, 2022, in the town of Léogâne.
The kidnappers demanded several ransoms in exchange for the hostage. During this operation, which resulted in the release of the victim, the agents benefited from the support of the authorities in the communal sections of Tombe Gateau and Fonddroit, boasts the police.
