American Airlines: the price of the ticket increases for Port-au-Prince / Miami
Some American Airlines flights from Port-au-Prince to Miami currently cost over US$3,000. In the meantime, a flight of this same company from Santo Domingo to Miami costs 300 US dollars.
Since the implementation of the Biden humanitarian program in Haiti, the price of airfare has risen steeply with several airlines.

This situation is pushing many Haitians to travel to the neighboring Republic to take an American Airlines flight at 275 USD for economy class and 493 for business class.
