Joe Biden worries about Haiti
An upsurge in armed gang-related violence in Haiti continues to plunge the country into a humanitarian crisis that is of concern to US President Joe Bien, but is complicated.
The statements are from Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, who attended the Las Vegas convention of the National Associations of Black and Hispanic Journalists last weekend.
“It’s just going to take time. I know it’s not easy at all, it’s a complicated situation, but we will continue to focus on it, ”commented Jean-Pierre, to the question put to him by the public.
The spokesperson also said that it is not only the United States, but that the countries of the region must also be involved.
