Justice Department calls on police to fight gangs

Armed gangs sow terror in several areas of the capital, the clash between armed bandits forces residents to flee their homes to escape the wrath of armed men.

Following these various confrontations, the government finally decides through the Ministry of Justice.

“The Ministry of Justice informs the population that following the deterioration of the security climate, the national police are called upon to take all necessary measures to protect lives and property in accordance with the law”, wrote the Ministry.

The national police must intensify operations, according to the Ministry of Justice. The operation called Tornado 1, in order to track down armed gangs, launched by the Director General of the PNH, Frantz Elbé several days ago, has not yet borne fruit.
