Prime Minister Ariel Henry, this Wednesday, February 8, met with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk. The two men discussed the security climate in Haiti.
“I had an important working meeting this morning with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Volker Türk, on the human rights situation, in the presence of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Justice, ”tweeted the tenant of the prime minister’s office.

Recall that, This same Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, had asked the Dominican authorities to stop the mass deportations of Haitians from their territory.
