14 Haitians injured in an accident in Montecristi
At least three Haitian citizens died and 14 others were injured, when a traffic accident occurred and the vehicle in which they were allegedly transported illegally overturned, in the early hours of this Saturday, on the highway that connects Castañuelas to Villa Vasquez in Montecristi, Dominican Republic.
The information obtained indicates that it was a vehicle that was driven by a Dominican, who managed to escape, and the cause of the event would have been the explosion of one of the tires of the car.
Until now, the identity of the victims is unknown, since they did not carry identity papers. The injured were taken to various health centers in the northwest zone for treatment.
