An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale was felt this Thursday, October 20, in Miragoâne in the department of Nippes. There was panic among the population, however no damage was recorded.

According to the volcanodiscovery site, in the last 24 hours, Haiti has recorded 6 earthquakes of magnitude 3.0, 1 earthquake of magnitude 2.5. There were also 3 smaller earthquakes of magnitude 2.0 which people cannot normally feel.
