Haiti – Bad weather: death toll rises to 42
The latest figures communicated by the authorities are alarming: 42 people lost their lives, 85 were injured, 11 are missing. The number of affected families stands at 7,475, while 13,633 houses have been flooded. More than 13,000 people have also been displaced.

Faced with this emergency situation, the authorities have mobilized the necessary relief and resources to come to the aid of the affected populations.
Civil protection teams were deployed on the ground to assess the extent of the damage and provide assistance to those affected. Clearing and cleaning work has also started in the most affected areas.
