Kidnapping: the Haitian Medical Association calls for help
The Haitian Medical Association is concerned about the dizzying rise in kidnapping cases in the country. The doctors become the target of the kidnappers, citing as an example the doctors Bennety Augustin and Jacques Pierre Pierre who are always guarded by the thugs.
The medical sector continues to demand the release of these two aforementioned doctors, while asking the government to do what is necessary to restore security in the country.
Note, the AMH has already organized several movements in protest against the kidnapping of several doctors. “The state must assume its responsibility,” in the words of one of the officials.
