Moïse Assassination Case: Court Notes Point to Alleged Links Involving Martelly and Henry

Notes read by the presiding judge during the Jovenel Moïse case in Miami have brought renewed attention to alleged connections between key Haitian political figures and Joseph Félix Badio, identified as a central actor in the assassination plot. According to documents submitted to the court, former President Michel Joseph Martelly reportedly maintained direct contact with Badio.

The same notes indicate that former Prime Minister Ariel Henry was also in communication with Badio and, at one point, allegedly shared the same residence with him—an element that raises serious questions about proximity and potential involvement.

These claims are not new and have been reported multiple times by both local and international media. However, their formal presentation before a U.S. court significantly elevates their legal weight.

If substantiated through ongoing proceedings, both Martelly and Henry could face major legal consequences in connection with the case.
