Haiti National Police and members of the “5 Seconds” gang clashed at the Bicentennial, this Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Heavy gunfire was heard there. At least one death is reported, the Haitian police communications service reported.

Director General Frantz Elbé had denied the rumor that the National Police had been ordered to end operations at the Village de Dieu.
The police institution is determined to fight the gangs, the latter who continue to sow grief and bitterness among the population.
