
The earth shook early this Monday morning, June 13, in Port-au-Prince, around 4:58 a.m. This magnitude 2.9 earthquake was felt in parts of the capital and its surroundings.
According to specialists, the epicenter was located 7 km west of Fort Jacques, in the heights of Kenscoff.
No damage was reported, but fear has won the hearts of residents who are still suffering from the aftermath of January 12, 2010 when a 7.3 earthquake devastated Port-au-Prince and other municipalities in the West department.
