Robinson Pierre Louis transferred to the National Penitentiary

After several days in police custody, under the order of the Port-au-Prince Public Prosecutor’s Office, the lawyers Robinson Pierre Louis and Michelet Virgile were transferred this Saturday, July 30 to the national penitentiary, for forfeiture, suspicion of corruption, trafficking in influence, firearms and ammunition trafficking and criminal association.

The Dean of the Port-au-Prince Court of First Instance rejected the request for release made by lawyers for Pierre Louis via habeas corpus proceedings.
