Bloody clashes between rival gangs of Gpep and G-9 in Cité Soleil for 4 days. Already fifty dead including women and children. Access to health care is limited and hampered by this violence. The United Nations is very concerned.
Armed conflicts between rival gangs in Cité Soleil left 70 dead, around 40 wounded by bullets or bladed weapons between April 14 and 19, 2023, reports the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
Among these victims, there are 18 women killed and 12 injured, and at least two minors lost their lives, underlines the balance sheet of OCHA.
