Flag Day in Cap-Haitien, several million gourdes disbursed

More than 50 million gourdes have been disbursed for the realization of the activities to mark the 220th anniversary of the flag in Cap-Haitien, confides to us a government source which specifies that more than 25 million gourdes have been granted to the town hall of this city and to the North delegation for the occasion.

According to our contact, it is the Ministries of Sports, Interior and Education that coordinate government activities in the north.

It should be noted that the government is severely criticized by several sectors of the country for having relocated the flag party. They believe it is an affront to the memory of the ancestors.
