U.S. government personnel are authorized to temporarily leave Haiti

The U.S. State Department is allowing U.S. government personnel and their family members to leave Haiti due to increasing violence across much of the country.

The fuel crisis and the dizzying rise in insecurity are pushing the American authorities to warn their nationals in Haiti to leave the country at this time of crisis. Remember the US State Department has already urged Americans not to visit Haiti.
