Arcahaie: Minibus Riddled with Bullets, Two Dead and Several Injured

Armed violence continues to cripple Haiti’s main road networks. Over the past weekend, heavily armed assailants opened fire on a minibus traveling along National Road #1 near Arcahaie.

According to initial reports, two passengers were killed instantly, while several others sustained serious injuries.This latest attack underscores the growing loss of state control over key national routes, now largely dominated by armed groups.

Public transportation has become increasingly dangerous, with commuters facing daily threats of deadly violence.

Despite the severity of the situation, no concrete action has been reported from authorities to regain control of this strategic corridor, raising further concerns about security governance.
