Haiti: AGD and APN employees ask for police support

After the attack perpetrated last Thursday in the premises of the National Port Authority by the gang in Izo, where a security guard was killed and two others came out injured; the employees of the General Administration of Customs and those of the APN plunge into the greatest concern.

These employees are asking the Director General of the National Police, Frantz Elbé, to provide these public companies with a police patrol to ensure their safety, otherwise they plan not to come to the office next week.

It should be noted that on June 10, armed men, members of the “5 segond” gang took over the premises of the bicentennial courthouse. They killed one person and took away sensitive files and office equipment.
