Canada has delivered three other armored vehicles to the National Police of Haiti, in order to fight the armed gangs which are wreaking havoc in the country. The news of the arrival of these three tanks
was confirmed by the Canadian Ambassador accredited to Port-au-Prince, Sébastien Carrière.
“All three vehicles are mine resistant and protected against ambushes. The latter must contribute to strengthening the PNH,” tweeted the Canadian diplomat accredited to Port-au-Prince Sebastian Carrière.
These three other tanks arrive at a time when armed bandits repeatedly attack police patrols.
To fight armed gangs, members of the police force need quality equipment adapted to our terrain.
