Global Economy Under Strain: IMF Raises Concerns

The International Monetary Fund has issued a warning over the weakening pace of global economic activity. Its latest outlook projects growth at roughly 3.1%, a level considered too modest to sustain strong recovery momentum.

The slowdown is driven by a combination of persistent geopolitical tensions, volatility in energy markets, and ongoing disruptions across global supply chains.

These pressures continue to fuel inflation and dampen investor confidence. Emerging economies, in particular, face heightened exposure to these shocks.

In response, the IMF urges governments to strengthen policy coordination and implement cautious fiscal and monetary strategies to mitigate risks and stabilize the global economic environment in the medium term.
